The Mother's day is feast celebrated all over the world, when we are remembering of the motherhood.
It is on different days in every countries.
The story of celebrating mother's day is derived from the ancient Greece, where the people were making
great festivals in the spring for a goddess called Rhea, who was also the mother of the Gods. As the time
went by, they started to celebrate mothers on the same day.
Later, in the years of 1600 the feast was started to be a bit more religous. In that days they have celebrated it
on the fourth sunday after easter. The servings working far from their families got a free day to go home, and
be with their mother on this day.
In the USA the mother's day was first celebrated in 1872, in Boston.
In 1907, Anna M. Jarvis tried to make this day a national holiday. She wanted to put it on the second sunday of may,
and succeeded only in 1914, when Woodrow Wilson, president of the United States made mother's day a national holiday.
